In-App Marketing will be shutting down November 1st, 2018. API calls will be removed in Tune Android & iOS SDKs v6.0.0. Customers are required to remove all code references to prevent service disruption. Please contact your Customer Success Manager with additional questions.

You can access details about currently running Experiments via getPowerHookVariableExperimentDetails. The value returned from these methods is an dictionary where the keys are the hook or action IDs and the values are TunePowerHookExperimentDetailsobjects, which include information on the experiment name and ID, variation name and ID, and the start date and end date of the experiment.

The experiment and variation IDs are unique identifiers for the experiment that is running with In-App Marketing and the variation that this device has been assigned. You may use this to report to a third-party analytics tool. The experiment and variation names are the same that you can see in In-App Marketing Tools.

We recommend that you retrieve the current Power Hook Experiment Details no sooner than after the first playlist has been downloaded. That way you can be sure to have the most up-to-date experiment details.
